Enige verschil is dat de wijngaarden extreem dicht tegen elkaar zijn beplant dat er net een Belgisch paard doorheen kan lopen. It’s all in the name!
The 2015 Syrah The Tribe Vineyard is also gorgeous, with lots of gravely/mineral notes intermixed with pepper, beef broth, currants and spice. It’s slightly more structured and tense than the Sur Echalas Vineyard, but has a similar level of purity, precision and length.

Stolpman Vineyards – Syrah 2012
€43,50 incl. btwdeze cuvée laat zien waarom syrah het hier zo goed doet. De structuur is te vergelijken met de wijnen uit de Noord-Rhône, stevig en rustiek maar het rijpe fruit laat zien dat er genoeg zon is in Californie. Een echte aanrader!
